CapacityLAB Story

CapacityLAB was created based on the founders’ extensive experience in worker rehab.   Jill Page and Laura Patton are joining together establishing a Center of Excellence, focusing on work analysis and rehabilitation.  This specialty is a passion for both of them.  All of their efforts will be focused on this population.

Laura Patton PT, DPT, CEAS

Owner/Member

Laura Patton graduated from the University of South Alabama with a B.S. in Physical Therapy in 1992 and obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of South Alabama in 2008.   In 25+ years of practice, she has broad experience in Industrial Rehab, occupational testing, and on-site work industry services, such as ergonomic analysis, post offer testing and wellness programs.   She has been an instructor for AMA Impairment ratings and for the ErgoScience systems for functional capacity evaluations and job demand analysis for over 20 years.  For the past 6 years she has been in a work comp clinical education and management role for a national rehab network.  Working with injured workers has long been a passion.  Laura is now a co-owner of CapacityLAB.

Jill J. Page OTR/L, CEAS

Owner/Member

Jill J. Page, OTR/L graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1990 with a degree in Occupational Therapy. 
 She has extensive experience in the treatment of an industrial rehabilitation population, performance of functional capacity evaluation (FCE), job demands analysis (JDA), writing job descriptions, post-offer employment screening (POS), collection of outcome measurements and presenting to industries regarding injury prevention and body mechanics instruction. Ms. Page is currently the co-owner of CapacityLAB, LLC where her responsibilities include FCE, POS, and JDA, along with training. She has presented and published, both nationally and internationally, on the topic of treating and assessing the injured worker.
